University Library Suggestions

END Auto sign-out of OneSearch

It is bloody annoying to have OneSearch sign out automatically after a few minutes. Facebook doesn't require it why can't you!!!

If the issue is security well consider this: Having it log out automatically is only useful on public computers in the library. For people using OneSearch at home or college it is not helpful, it is more of a hindrance and distraction.

In fact I would argue it is a greater security risk to have it log out automatically because it increases the likelihood of advanced keyloggers retrieving sign in information.

Timetable and CAS

The new 2016 timetable website does not display correctly on iOS devices. This is horrible when there are public holidays and lecturers tell us we can attend any class during that week, but we can't find them. The old 2015 timetable website still loads perfectly, doesn't lag, gives us all the info we need, and doesn't display unnecessary info. My suggestions is to add a simple text based search option, similar to the previous timetable site, to minimise lag and increase compatibility with mobile devices.

Web Print upgrade

Hi there - I like that printing is available from laptops, but I think that the site could use an upgrade. There are very few features, if any at all, on the site which means it is only useful to print 1 sided, black and white, a4 pages. The ability to change paper size, change colour/black and white preferences, double sided would all be great on webprint. I don't know how difficult it would be to put these features on, but it just means I'm having to use library computers anyway to do any sort of meaningful printing.

Password page is broken

Your name:

The page for changing your pheme password is not loading and my password is expired and it would be just lovely if I could access my unit information before I have my exam.
I get to the Welcome to Pheme page and I am selecting student and it does nothing. Could you email me a link to reset my password or preferably fix the page.
